Our Story
The Garden Table Foundation grew out of my deep love for home, hospitality, and the belief that some of the most meaningful moments in life happen around the table.
For years, my work has centered on creating intentional spaces, places where people feel welcomed, known, and cared for. I am rooted in faith, which shapes how I see people, community, and the simple yet powerful act of coming together to share a meal.
Along the way, I began to see how differently families experience food and how access, education, and confidence are not always a given. I felt a growing conviction that the values I live out in my own home were meant to be shared more broadly, especially with families who need encouragement, resources, and opportunity.
The Garden Table Foundation was created as an extension of that calling.
I believe caring for others starts with meeting practical needs, nourishment, dignity, and hope. Teaching children and families how to grow food connects them to God’s creation, and teaching them how to cook builds confidence that carries into everyday life. When families are equipped with these skills, health improves, independence grows, and connection naturally follows.
This foundation exists to offer hands on food and garden education that is accessible, welcoming, and rooted in real life. From garden beds to kitchen counters, our programs are designed to serve families where they are and remind them that they are seen, valued, and capable.
At its heart, The Garden Table Foundation is about gathering. It is about food, learning, and meaningful connection. Guided by my faith and a deep belief in serving others, this foundation exists to create welcoming spaces where people can grow, share, and be cared for through community and nourishment.
I am honored to invite you to pull up a chair at The Garden Table and be part of this work.

Why Food Education Matters

- Confidence and independence
- Healthier eating habits
- Environmental awareness
- Stronger family bonds
Food education is foundational. It supports physical health, emotional well‑being, and lasting connection.

Rooted in Community
At its heart, The Garden Table Foundation is about gathering people together in meaningful ways, whether in the garden or around the table.
